The Team

Razak Seidu is a full professor at the Norwegian Unviversity of Science and Technology, and the leader of the smart water laboratory. He has worked extensively in water related issues globally and is currently leading a project on the Digitalization of Water Systems in Norway. Prof. Seidu will be the main coordinator of the summer school.

Guoyuan Li is a professor at the Department of Ocean Operations and Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He earned his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Hamburg, Germany, in 2013. Since 2014, he has been with NTNU’s Intelligent Systems Laboratory in Ålesund, Norway. Prof. Li has published over 150 papers on artificial intelligence, digitalization, dynamic system modeling and simulation, and optimization algorithms. He will be a key lecturer at the summer school.

Dr. Peihua Han is a senior researcher at NTNU, specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) and its applications in digitalization. His work aims to enhance efficiency, safety, and sustainability in the maritime sector by leveraging advanced AI techniques. With a strong background in machine learning, time-series modeling, and probabilistic modeling. Dr. Han is dedicated to developing intelligent systems that can analyze complex data, optimize decision-making, and drive innovation. Dr. Han will be one of the lecturers of the course.
